Enrique was born in San Antonio, TX . His career in hospitality all started at the historical La Mansion Del Rio, where he developed his passion to help others and provide memorable experiences for guests around the world. Later he ventured to the Westin & Hyatt Hill Country Resorts to continue his path in the industry.

Along with his passion of providing guests with life long memories, his love for the outdoors and snowboarding relocated him to Colorado, “home to the outdoor enthusiast”. He started on the Western Slope, Grand Junction, only to continue his hospitality career in the well-established vacation getaway town of Breckenridge, CO for 7 years. During his time in the mountains, he became a certified snowboard instructor and worked for Breckenridge Grand Vacations, the largest timeshare property in town. He gained knowledge and experience in a variety of capacities: front desk, housekeeping assistant manager and guest services.

With the thirst to diversify himself in the hospitality industry he joined Wyndham River Mountain Lodge as the front desk supervisor. During his time there he loved the outdoor life tremendously but felt the calling from Christ to get closer to Him and settle down. He found Agape Church in the area and started to attend regularly. Only as part of God’s Divine plan did he meet his future wife. While on his lunch break, he hit the slopes and God placed Whitney right next to him on a chair lift. His now wife, Whitney, living in Colorado Springs, had moved from Mammoth lakes, California where she was also a ski and snowboard instructor and a woman of Christ seeking a deeper and closer relationship with Him.

After trips back and forth visiting each other, he knew it was in his best interest to leave the mountain life to pursue more and a wife. His next hospitality journey took him to The Broadmoor, where he worked for 5 years in guest service, dining reservations and the all-inclusive Cloud Camp. During this stint he learned valuable standards and hotelier experiences on the highest level. Enrique attends Front Range Alliance Church with his wife, where his passion for music, not only as a DJ, allows him to serve as one of the drummers on the worship team, and enjoys attending church events and functions that grow him closer to God.

Enrique has been married to his wife for 3 years now and was recently blessed with a daughter, Olivia Hope Torres. Proud husband, papi, and now guest service manager, Enrique is honored and blessed to work at Glen Eyrie where Christ is above all. God’s perfectly orchestrated plan landed Enrique here to continue what he was created to do, serve Christ by serving others. Enrique is thrilled to share his knowledge and expertise with his new staff at Glen Eyrie. He looks forward to working with everyone and becoming a solid team member, leader, and disciple for Christ by “knowing him and making him known”.
