SPEAKERS

Best-selling author Jerry Bridges has been a full-time staff member with the Navigators for many years. For 15 of those years he was The Navigators’ vice president for corporate affairs. His most popular book, The Pursuit of Holiness, has sold more than one million copies. Other titles include Transforming Grace and The Practice of Godliness. Currently on staff with The Navigators Collegiate Ministry, Jerry is a popular speaker around the world.


Tom and Dana Yeakley have been serving with The Navigators since 1978. They have been involved in a collegiate, church discipleship, and community ministries all over the world. In 1995, Tom joined the U.S. Collegiate Leadership Team and moved to Colorado Springs. He has led the U.S. Campus Ministry and from March 2000–2003 was the Director of the U.S. Collegiate Ministry. He is currently serving in U.S. Navigators Leader Development and developing leaders internationally. He is also the Executive Director for Leader Development Network, a leader development consulting firm.

Dana served as an Associate Director on The Navigators’ Collegiate Leadership Team from 1997–2003 and with Learning Rx as a trainer, account executive, and center director from 2003–2006. She frequently speaks to students and women’s groups, and is also personally mentoring several women.

The Yeakleys have authored several books, articles and Bible studies. They have three adult children and five grandchildren.

Vic and Lindy Black have been on staff with The Navigators for 29 years. They have ministered at N.C. State, the University of South Carolina, the University of Tennessee, and Auburn University. They currently work in Colorado Springs. Lindy serves as Associate Director on the Collegiate Executive Leadership Team and Director of Training and Development for collegiate staff. She also leads in promoting effective ministry to staff women. Vic serves as the National Prayer Director. He functions across all missions and ministries of The Navigators, facilitating, training, and encouraging others in prayer and in their relationship with God. Vic and Lindy have been married 32 years. They have 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. They love to hike in the mountains, eat popcorn, and go out to eat with friends.

Eddie Broussard Eddie Broussard has been on staff with The Navigators since 1980. Eddie led campus ministries, served as a pastor of discipleship in two churches, and directed training for the CoMission movement where he met Barbie. Upon their return from Ukraine in 1996, they were married. Ten months later, Eddie was invited by the U.S. Navigators to serve on the National Leadership Team as Vice President of Diversity. In January 2009, Eddie began a new role as Senior Vice President and Associate Director, US Field Ministries. This new role focuses on five areas: Creating and nurturing the culture of the US Navigators, serving with the US Field Leader in leading the Field Ministries of the U.S. Navigators, Leading the development of a national diversity council to continue the work of diversity growth in the U.S. Navigators, fund raising for the U.S. Navigators, and serving as a national voice and stimulus for urban and inner city ministry across the U.S. Navigators.has been on staff

Jim Luebe currently serves as the U.S. Navigators Collegiate Director. Jim has been working with college students for 25 years, 11 of those years as Campus Director at the University of Northern Iowa. Jim and his wife, Beth, are the parents of three boys, Doug (20), Greg (18), and Mark (16). Jim is passionate about seeing God use simple, ordinary people to accomplish His purposes in our world.


OUR RETREAT LEADER

Resident worship leader and program coordinator at Glen Eyrie since early 2007, Jeff Morrison has been in full time ministry since college. Worship pastor, youth director, missionary teacher in Guatemala, and recording artist out of Nashville, Jeff is passionate about living in and communicating the healing love and power of God. Jeff is a recent vocal and songwriting winner at GMA Music in the Rockies, and leads worship workshops all over the country. He has a great wife and three small kids and is thankful for this season of work and ministry at the beautiful Glen.
