 It is a great privilege and exciting journey to “do ministry” for a living—or be married to someone who does. But the challenges and pressures in ministry work can be very intense and draining. This retreat is meant to provide space, time, and the place for deep renewal and refreshment for people in the ministry trenches.
All ministry leaders and their spouses are invited to come “Home” for a few days…
- Pastors of all stripes—senior, executive, missions, youth, children, music…
- Ministry Leaders—from Young Life, Compassion, & Navigators to Rescue Mission leaders
The “Home” retreat is designed specifically for you and your spouse to enjoy each other and God’s presence in the extraordinary setting of Glen Eyrie. Retreat facilitators will provide devotions, worship, tools, encouragement, and permission to BE with God, together. The focus of the retreat is rest, prayer, and relationship building. Take a walk to Dorothy Falls. Enjoy our self-guided prayer retreat. And we’ve got a few romantic surprises waiting for you as well!
OUR RETREAT LEADERS
 Resident worship leader and program coordinator at Glen Eyrie since early 2007, Jeff Morrison has been in full time ministry since college. Worship pastor, youth director, missionary teacher in Guatemala, and recording artist out of Nashville, Jeff is passionate about living in and communicating the healing love and power of God. Jeff is a recent vocal and songwriting winner at GMA Music in the Rockies, and leads worship workshops all over the country. He has a great wife and three small kids and is thankful for this season of work and ministry at the beautiful Glen.
 Terry and Leah Green, directors of Marriage GetAways at Glen Eyrie, have been married for 45 years and are blessed with four children and 11 grandchildren. In October 2005, they moved to Colorado Springs, coming on board as full time Navigator staff serving at The Glen. They had been associate staff with the Navigators since 1995, laboring with the Military, Community and Church Discipleship ministries. Twenty years prior to coming to The Glen, they worked together in their insurance business in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Discipling others is their heartbeat while rejoicing in this new direction for the second half of their lives and marriage.
