Madrigal Banquet

Join us for an exciting new way to experience a classic Christmas tradition! Glen Eyrie’s Madrigal production fit for a king will be filled with new performances, a savory new menu, and joyous festivity.

This 16th century-style banquet is set in the grandeur of the Great Hall of The Castle and is sure to engage all of your senses. We’ve paired spectacular entertainment with a sensational four-course meal designed by our new Executive Chef. Be sure to arrive on time for valet service and our new selection of hors’ d’oeuvres prior to the show!

Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the performance begins at 6:00 PM.

MEAL SELECTION AND FOOD ALLERGIES
We are pleased to offer two menu selections for you and your guests.  The first menu is our traditional Madrigal menu consisting of four courses, Soup, Salad, Pork, and Dessert.  The second menu follows the same four course theme and is Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Nut-free, and Vegetarian. 


 
Traditional Madrigal Menu
  • Potato Leek bisque with whole wheat toast point and Boursin Cheese
  • Fresh Bibb Lettuce Salad with wine simmered Sweet Potato petits des, Shell Poached Quail Egg with a Blueberry Cabernet Dijon vinaigrette
  • Rosemary Pork Osso Buco with wild Mushroom Potatoes Duchess, wine blanched Spinach with Asparagus
  • Chocolate Amaretto Bread Pudding
 
Alternative Madrigal Menu
  • Spinach Tofu Soup
  • Iced Bibb Lettuce salad with wine simmered Sweet Potatoes petit des, roasted Red Peppers with a Blackberry Cabernet Dijon dressing
  • Risotto stuffed Red Pepper with fall Vegetables, roasted garlic rosemary Tomato Sauce. wine blanched Spinach with Asparagus with a roasted yellow pepper coulis
  • Flourless Chocolate Cake with a Blackberry Caramel Coulis

MENU SELECTIONS AND OPTIONS
While the four courses for each menu are pre-established and published, we are pleased to accommodate food allergies that are medically necessary,  if possible.  Accommodations will be made solely at the discretion of our Executive Chef.  We regret that we cannot accommodate requests from guests with simple food preferences, and that there may be some severe food allergies that we cannot safely accommodate.  If we cannot accommodate a request you may choose to decline a course as needed; please also know that the combing of courses from each of the menus is not possible.

SEAT ASSIGNMENTS
Tickets will be held for you in the Castle Foyer on the night of the event and will be presented to you upon arrival. All tickets are for reserved seating and seat assignments are made by our Guest Services Manager with preferred seating offered to overnight guests and parties with earliest reservations made.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Due to the unique nature of the event we would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the following:
The Castle is a non-smoking facility
Alcohol is not served, nor is it permitted on the grounds
We ask that you not bring infants or very young children

PAYMENT and CANCELLATION
All reservations require payment in advance.  Reservations for individual tickets may be made online.  Reservations including overnight lodging must be made by telephone.  Tickets are non-refundable and not transferable to another date, however, they are transferable to another guest for the same evening.
