Glen Eyrie Wedding Policy
The Navigators is a Christian religious nonprofit organization. Glen Eyrie Conference Center is owned by The Navigators and is a ministry of The Navigators. Consistent with its Statement of Faith, The Navigators adheres to the Biblical belief that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman [Genesis 2:18-24], and further adheres to the belief that the wedding ceremony is a Christian sacrament. [Ephesians 5:22-32] As part of its ministry, The Navigators has opened the Glen Eyrie facilities and grounds to individuals desiring to use them for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The Navigators requires that individuals who wish to use The Navigators’ property for purposes associated with weddings and marriage must share the religious beliefs of The Navigators concerning marriage and agree that all uses of the property for purposes associated with weddings and marriage, including the wedding ceremony and re-affirmation of vows, must be in accord with the religious beliefs and principles of The Navigators, specifically including those concerning the nature of marriage. The Navigators further requires that the officiating pastor of weddings and marriage ceremonies held on the Glen Eyrie facilities share the religious beliefs of The Navigators concerning marriage.
